To help stay true to our company culture and help Flywheelers do their best work, the People Operations Generalist is responsible for managing and executing key aspects of our people operations strategy, including overseeing core Human Resources functions, anticipating Human Resources related issues, aligning business objectives with employee performance initiatives and more. You work alongside our People Ops Generalist to ensure we continue to be the big, happy, and ever-so-slightly dysfunctional family we are!

You're a solid fit for this position if...
  • You have 3+ years of HR / People Operations experience, preferably in a high-growth company
  • You have experience with benefits administration, HRIS & payroll systems
  • You have a working knowledge of employment laws, best practices, & multiple human resource disciplines.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • You’re able to take ownership of projects and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • You’ll be joyfully in service to our teams around the world when questions and needs arise.

This role will be responsible for...
  • Being proactive in working with People Ops & Department Managers to address department & team needs
  • Remaining current on trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to compete in market and within industry.
  • Evaluating issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution and program designs i.e. training to address certain needs.
  • Maintaining a strong foundation and knowledge of principles & practice of HR including employment law & compliance requirements
  • Assisting in developing HR strategies, policies, and practices.
  • Improving relations between staff and employers.
  • Maintaining benefits administration, managing the HRIS, employee engagement and other Human Resources programs.
  • Organizing regular audits to ensure all employment agreements and employment-related contracts, and are up to date and compliant.
  • Assisting with implementing our performance management system.
  • Analyzing trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions
  • Providing day-to-day coaching on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; talent management and development; and organizational design consultation.
