This role is tasked with delivering a seamless, exceptional onboarding experience for some of our most important creative customers. You’ll be responsible for owning the technical aspects of customer onboarding, whether that’s troubleshooting WordPress conflicts that arise when moving a user’s site to Flywheel, digging into our app, or whatever behind-the-scenes magic needs to happen to ensure our customer is set up for success. You’ll also play a role in educating external and internal teams: making sure everyone is excited about our product’s capabilities, expectations are set really well, and the customer feels incredibly supported in their transition to our platform.

You will work closely with our account managers to act as their technical counterpoint for customers. As a member of the Customer Success team, you’ll be joining a pack of high-achieving, detail-oriented problem solvers who truly enjoy the opportunity to make our customers’ work less complicated and deliver the best possible experience!

You're a solid fit for this position if...
  • Have a history of providing next-level customer service and building great client relationships
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and can break down technical concepts to make them easier to understand
  • Have a strong understanding of and background in technical troubleshooting
  • Are resourceful (if you don’t know the answer, you’ll find a way to get to it!)
  • Have a good grasp on project and time management, and can prioritize and task-switch easily
  • Are passionate about process and love digging into the details of a project
  • Are always willing to learn (and you’re a quick study!)
Our idea of a perfect candidate is someone who...
  • Has experience with troubleshooting WordPress problems (this largely involves reading and understanding error logs, problem-solving, command-line issues)
  • Has an understanding of basic site structure, file systems, and a bit of MySQL knowledge
  • Leaves a really amazing impression on any phone interview/phone call
  • Has experience with mid- to large-size enterprise clients
  • Has an “architect”-like mindset: you know you could develop an understanding of our product's fit with the customer and build the best way to make them successful/get them onboarded quickly
This role will be responsible for...
  • Helping customers make a seamless transition to our platform!
  • Assisting in onboarding, training and help document creation - for internal and/or external teams
  • Technical engagement with some of Flywheel’s largest accounts via onboarding calls and emails
  • Troubleshooting and solving WordPress or platform-related issues for customers
  • Fulfilling customer requests quickly and effectively
  • Hitting deadlines
  • Supporting the rest of the Customer Success team as needed
