Anna Hensel is a freelance journalist who has written on everything from small business laws to whiskey distilleries to good youth sportsmanship practices, but her passion is startups. Her work has appeared in Inc., Silicon Prairie News, and Omaha Publications’ various magazines. She became a passionate advocate for good website design after a day at a summer internship where she had to research the websites of 50 small businesses—and only about half of which had working contact links. She’s also a big fan of running, water activities, and reading television recaps about shows she doesn't watch so she can still participate in pop culture conversations.
