Communication Center: Overview

The Flywheel dashboard features hosting-related notifications via Communication Center, presenting proactive alerts to help you manage your sites more efficiently.

In this article, we’ll explore how to access Communication Center, highlight a few of the notifications it offers, and go over how to customize your communication preferences.

Accessing Communication Center

To access Communication Center, click on the bell icon in the main menu.

A sidebar will expand with the most recent notifications displayed. Most notifications include a button that will redirect you to the relevant dashboard area if action should be taken.


Notification Categories

Notifications are organized into three categories and can be toggled on and off via the Notification Settings tab.

? Support ticket alerts

Receive notifications when your support ticket receives a response.

? Billing alerts

Receive notifications when your payment is processed, your invoice is past due, your credit card is about to expire, and more.

? Site activity alerts

Receive a notification when your SSL is about to expire, Development Mode is enabled for more than 24 hours, your Staging site is ready, and more.


Notification Settings

Clicking the gear icon in the Notifications pane will take you to the Notification Settings page where you can customize your communication preferences.

Check or uncheck a box to toggle that notification type on or off. Then click Save Preferences to apply.


Notification Archive

To access prior notifications, click the gear icon in the Notifications pane, then click Archive in the menu. From here, you can view your entire Communication Center history, filter by read status, or search for a specific notification.
