cPanel access on Flywheel

We do not offer access to cPanel. Many shared and generic hosting companies offer the ability to manage all aspects of our hosting account via “cPanel,” giving you an array of icons and screens to manage nearly every aspect of your hosting.

Because Flywheel specializes only in WordPress, and because our service is “managed,” 90% of the functionality exposed by cPanel is unnecessary. Our custom control panel is built and designed specifically for the needs of designers and developers who create WordPress sites. Our aim is to give you just enough options and control so you can do your job – and nothing more. Oh, and we want to do it in a beautiful way.

We believe at our core that designers and developers should focus on what they do best – designing and developing great sites for their clients. They shouldn’t have to spend time figuring out what icons to click in order to do basic website maintenance stuff or have to resort to editing WordPress core files to unlock everyday functionality.

One of the beautiful things about WordPress is that if it’s set up and configured correctly, it should JUST WORK. And in the times when it doesn’t, our WordPress experts are here to help.
