Delete a domain from Flywheel

Removing a domain from Flywheel is fairly straightforward, but can be a little tricky if the domain you wish to delete is set up as the primary domain.

How to delete a domain

  1. Head over to the site’s dashboard.
  2. On the Domains card, click the 3-dot menu next to the domain you want to remove and select Delete Domain.

How to delete a primary domain

  1. Go to the site’s dashboard. On the Domains card, the primary domain is indicated by a green tag.
  2. Before deleting a primary domain, you must first make another domain primary via its 3-dot menu. The included temporary domain is a good option.
  3. With the temporary domain now set up as primary, you can now delete the former primary domain using the 3-dot menu.
