How can I cancel a subscription?

We’d hate to see you go, but you can cancel a subscription at any point. There are no long-term contracts or commitments at Flywheel.

When you cancel a subscription on Flywheel, it will stay active until the next billing cycle, at which point it will not be renewed. For more information on refunds, see the article: What is your refund policy?

To cancel a subscription, navigate to the “Billing” tab for the site in the Flywheel dashboard

When you first log in to Flywheel, you should see a list of all the sites you currently have hosted on Flywheel. Click on the site that you wish to cancel. Once you’re in the dashboard for the site, look for the Billing Tab and click it.

In the Billing tab, hover over the ellipsis icon to the right of 'Billing history' and select the 'Cancel subscription' option

If you'd like to provide feedback on why the subscription is being cancelled, select the reason and/or leave a comment.

Enter your Flywheel password in the box provided and select ‘Yes, I am sure I want to cancel this subscription’ to confirm. Your subscription will be cancelled and your site will be closed at the end of the remaining billing period.

If the site is in a bulk plan, when you click into the site’s Billing tab you’ll find a link to the main subscription page. Click through and you’ll find the option to cancel the bulk subscription on the next page.

Only the owner can cancel a site’s subscription; collaborators don’t have that access. If the site is owned by an Organization, however, any member of the Org can cancel.

If you have any questions about cancelling, please reach out to Flywheel support.
