Accept a billing transfer

Welcome to the Flywheel family!

If you’re ready to take over a hosting account that is currently on Flywheel, then you’ll need to follow these steps to accept a billing transfer.

Once the transfer process has been submitted by the current account owner, you will receive an email like the one below to complete billing on the appropriate site.

After clicking the “Accept & Set Up Billing” button, you will be prompted to login or create an account on Flywheel and enter your credit card information.

Once you have successfully set up billing and payment has been made, you will become the site’s owner.

Add a secondary domain to your Flywheel site (if you have one).

Note: The previous owner will need to remove the domain from their Flywheel account before you can add it to yours. Please reach out to the previous owner to request that they do so immediately OR to schedule a good time so the change won’t interrupt site traffic.
Enable SSL to secure your website, and then turn on the Force HTTPS setting to make sure all your content loads securely over HTTPS.
