With Orgs, everyone on your team has the ability to start the next project or make changes to an existing one. No need to grab the company card or slow down client work waiting for access to the “company account.”
Wondering what else the members of your Organization can do? Here’s a short list.
When someone becomes an Org member, they get immediate SFTP and Dashboard access to all sites in the Org. This also changes SFTP access; it adds an “org-” identifier on the folder, and all sites now exist under the Org folder instead of a user.
Add-ons like Performance Insights and Managed Plugin Updates can be enabled, disabled, or removed by members of your Organization.
Yes, members of your Organization have the ability to clone or delete sites; for this reason, you should only add people you trust to your Organization.
Every member of an Organization has full owner privileges for each site owned by the organization. Members of your Organization can access things like Staging, Logs, Stats, the database, and everything else in the Flywheel dashboard. They can also use any payment method that belongs to the Organization to pay for sites, subscriptions and add-ons that the Organization owns.
If you do not want somebody to have this level of access, consider adding them as a Collaborator to the site instead.
