If Simple SSL fails to install for one or more domains, an error message will display in the Domains list:
And/or the SSL Certificates card:
This message indicates that Simple SSL failed to validate because the DNS is not properly pointed to the Flywheel IP address. Clicking “How do I do this?“or “Troubleshoot DNS issues” will take you to a Flywheel help article which describes DNS setup in more detail.
Once you’re satisfied that DNS is properly set up, you can click the Check DNS button to confirm. If the domain is now pointed to Flywheel, try enabling Simple SSL again.
Please reach out to our Happiness Engineers, and we’ll dig into the problem for you!
