Last week, we added a brand new, caffeinated crew to Team Flywheel! Naturally, one of the first things we did was venture over to our favorite neighbors, Beansmith Coffee Roasters, to welcome them and sip on some delicious coffee. These Flywheelers are ready to hit the ground running, and we couldn’t be more psyched about the momentum they bring. Let’s get to know our four newest superstars!
Zane Fletcher, Content Writing Intern
Hobbies/interests? Reading, playing sports I used to be good at in high school, bar trivia, going to art museums, and pretending like I know what I’m talking about because I took a few art history classes in undergrad.
Favorite thing on the internet? I spend a lot of time on the internet, but one time I found a picture of two dogs hugging and after viewing that, the rest of the internet just didn’t seem quite as important anymore.
An item on your bucket list? Purchase a cabin near a lake in New Hampshire, live with my hound, and work in the nearby small town.
Brett Hicks, Training Manager
Hobbies/interests? I’m super involved with my church. I love to sing and write. My husband and I spend a lot of time working on our house and playing with our pup, Cooper. Traveling and spending time with friends and family are also favorites of mine!
Favorite thing on the internet? Hmm…Design Seeds and Google Maps. 🙂
An item on your bucket list? Create a super awesome, enviable training program for Flywheelers!
Ibby How, Accounting and Finance Manager
Hobbies/interests? Traveling, reading about interior design, trying new foods, Beyoncé, spending time with my family and friends, and I’m a skincare/beauty junkie!
Favorite thing on the internet? I have a couple. Amazon Prime, The Skimm, and The Onion.
An item on your bucket list? Visit New Zealand.
Luke Pettipoole, Happiness Engineer
Hobbies/interests? I love writing and recording music. I play a variety of instruments, but I’m most competent on the bass and piano…and I love synthesizers, could talk about them for days. My wife and I both love interior design, so our idea of a fun weekend is hopping in the station wagon and visiting small towns in Nebraska and Iowa hunting for untapped thrifting spots.
Favorite thing on the internet? Lately, I’ve been getting into theory tabs on hooktheory.com It’s a different way of learning cover songs that allows you to break down how the music is put together. It’s great for inspiring new song ideas.
An item on your bucket list? Someday, I would love to purchase an old church in a small midwest town and convert it into a recording studio. (Massive pipe organ = bonus!)
Welcome to the team, Zane, Brett, Ibby, and Luke! We’re pumped to have you here.
