We hired seven new friends to work at Flywheel, so after training was complete, one of our first orders of business was to get the whole company together for a little happy hour. This gives us a chance to get to know our new teammates a little better, and an excuse to eat lots and lots of guacamole!

Austin Moehlenhoff
Can you tell us about yourself? I was born and raised in Lincoln where I attended UNL. I am a serial hobbyist who loves to learn and am over the top ecstatic to start at Flywheel!
What are your hobbies? I love to read, bike, play video games, and be outside whenever I can. I have played the drums for over 20 years, so I have my practice pad usually pretty close to me in case I feel the need to drum it out.
What is your favorite vacation destination? Favorite vacation spot is Portland, Oregon.
What is your favorite thing on the internet? This.
If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? One thing I could eat every day for the rest of my life is Chipotle…because Chipotle.
Elizabeth McGill, Happiness Engineer
Can you tell us about yourself? I’m Elizabeth! I’m really excited to be here at Flywheel. Previously I worked for a software company doing internal support work. I graduated from UNO with a Computer Science degree. People call me a nerd but I am actually very cool and hip (and not a nerd).
What are your hobbies? I love video games and I spend too much time playing them. I also love doting on my cat, to the point that I would call it a hobby.
What is your favorite vacation destination? I would live out the rest of my life in Harry Potter World in Orlando if I could.

If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Cheesecake.
Jeremy Paavola, Happiness Engineer
Can you tell us about yourself? I’m married, Finnish-Canadian, and living in the UK. My wife and I moved to the UK so I could do an MLitt in Theology at the University of St Andrews, and once I finished, we stuck around. I’ve been working in and around WordPress for almost 10 years, doing theme development and customer support for a couple theme studios.
What are your hobbies? I enjoy golf, chess, philosophy and theology, video games, and playing around with technology: building computers, playing around with servers, Linux, and so on.
What is your favorite vacation destination? My favourite vacation destination would have to be Inverness, Scotland.
What is your favorite thing on the internet? Turkeys.
If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Pizza, because you can put anything on pizza (butI only like cheese and pepperoni pizza).
Kristin Wittkamp, Happiness Engineer
Can you tell us about yourself? My name is Kristin. I’m originally from Spring, TX – recently made famous by Simone Biles. I graduated with a BA in History from Sam Houston State University and moved to Omaha in 2013 after my boyfriend got a really good job offer up here. Before Flywheel I worked in tech sales, but I’ve also recently been a bartender and I am really, reallllly good at making Bloody Mary’s. I have a dog named Gypsy who I consider to be my fur-child. I’m also going back to school to pursue a degree in Information Tech to specialize in Server Administration. Woo!
What are your hobbies? I love roller-skating. I actually was a part of the Omaha Roller Girls last season. I’m hoping to get back into it this summer! I also love anything true-crime and I spend a good deal of my remaining free time crocheting.
What is your favorite vacation destination? Colorado! I love the outdoors/hiking/camping, and my brother lives there so it’s great all around.
What is your favorite thing on the internet? Cher’s Twitter.
If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Lasagna. I have been described as the human Garfield on more than one occasion. It honestly has everything you need in a dish: pasta stacked on top of pasta held together with cheese.
Matt Assadi, Inside Sales Representative
Can you tell us about yourself? I graduated from UNO in 2012 with a degree in graphic design. I enjoy playing in a band called alpha 5, and I have been dabbling in screen printing lately. I have two cats and only one of them has hair.
What are your hobbies? I enjoy playing live music, collecting comics, taking road trips for no good reason, and from time to time, I enjoy playing nerdy card games.
What is your favorite vacation destination? My favorite vacation destination would have to be Iran. Iran is where half of my family lives and every time I go there it is a blast!
What is your favorite thing on the internet? I would have to say my favorite thing on the internet would be YouTube. Anyone can learn anything on the internet, but a video is awesome especially for a hands on/visual learner like myself. Also, I love (and hate) watching fail videos.
If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Potatoes. I say that because they can be turned into so many different things and most of those things are my favorite foods. Potato wedges, fries, baked potatoes, hash browns….The list goes on.
Nicole Sommer, Inside Sales Representative
Can you tell us about yourself? I was born and raised in Omaha, graduated from R.I.T. in Rochester, NY with a B.F.A. in Photography, then lived and worked in NYC for several years. I moved back to Omaha in 2011, got married August 6th, 2016! And I have a corgi named Sharkey and a cat named Blackers.
What are your hobbies? Yoga! Anything to do with food (cooking, eating, dining, Top Chef). And adventure hikes, dog walks, camping, traveling, live music, and sometimes running.
What is your favorite vacation destination? The Maldives. My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon and it was insane! Or Table Rock Lake in Missouri where my family vacations every year.
What is your favorite thing on the internet? I’m gonna go old school and have to say: Cat, I’m a kitty cat.
If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Chips. Any kind of chip. Or Oreo’s. That’s a tough one.
Will Mohon
Can you tell us about yourself? My name is Will and I come from a small rural town out in the sticks called Arlington. I grew up working mainly as a farm and ranch hand. I was also homeschooled for the entirety of high school and I’m currently pursuing an associate degree in Video and Audio.
What are your hobbies? I play a healthy amount of lacrosse and board games as well as paint miniatures. I’ve also ventured into some gardening and have invested in three tomato plants.
What is your favorite vacation destination? It’s a tie between Colorado and Louisiana.
What is your favorite thing on the internet? Netflix, hands down.
If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Jambalaya! Can’t beat good, spicy, cajun food.
