One of the questions we’re most often asked is “Does Flywheel support deploying via Git?

We’re happy to say that with a little configuration, you can easily set up a Git deployment workflow using a great service called DeployHQ. In fact, this is how we deploy getflywheel.com.

DeployHQ is an excellent service that allows you to set up all types of manual and automatic deployment for your sites. It supports Git, Mercurial and Subversion code repositories, and can deploy to many types of destinations including FTP/SFTP, Amazon S3, and more. There are a handful of plans to choose from, but the free plan will support a single deployment, and works great for most needs.

For full details on how to deploy your site on Flywheel using DeployHQ, head on over to the Flywheel help article: How can I use Git to publish my site on Flywheel?

If you have any questions about deploy your site with Git, or version control in general – don’t hesitate to contact Flywheel support. We’d be happy to help!
