When using our search and filter features, do you find yourself performing the same filtering combinations every time you search for sites in the Flywheel dashboard? (You may have used the same filters so many times that you can recall them in your sleep!)
If that resonates with you, you’re in luck.
Introducing saved filters
Today, we’re excited to announce the ability to save your frequently used filter combinations so you can quickly find the sites that fit that criteria in one click!
Here’s an example of how saved filters can help you save clicks (and time):
Say you offer a monthly maintenance plan that includes SEO, content updates, and plugin updates, but only a portion of your sites subscribe to it. How do you keep track of which sites get these additional services? Saved filters. We’ll show you what this could look like in the screenshots below.
Ready to create your first saved filter? Follow these simple steps:
- Select the tags and filters of your choosing
2. Click “Save filters”
3. Name your filter group
4. Toggle default on/off (if on, this will be pre-selected and will persist every time you go back into your “All sites” view)
5. Click “Save filter group”
Success! You’ll now see a “Saved filters” dropdown selector at the top of the filter sidebar. You can confirm that your new filter group saved successfully by finding it in this dropdown.
Since introducing tags and filtering in the app last year, there have been over 16,000 tags created and even more filters applied. We’re so excited to continue optimizing the dashboard so you can quickly get to the sites you need. If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out to our Happiness Engineers!
